係香港人嘅眼中，七八十年代嘅油麻地果欄係一個龍蛇混雜的地方，好多人都會將黑社會、爛仔同油麻地果欄連繫埋一齊。所以，以前的香港電影都會揀油麻地果欄作為一個重要的取景地點。
In 70's and 80's in Hong Kong, people will link Yau Ma Tei Wholesale Fruit Market with criminal organization together. So, it is one of the important shooting points for Hong Kong movie in the past.

「食屎啦你」一詞係出自1988年的港產片《旺角卡門》，張學友飾演的「烏蠅」同萬梓良飾演的Tony於麻雀館打交，烏蠅對Tony的手下說：「着西裝打呔，攞大哥電話有咩用呀？吓！跟啲咁嘅大佬，吔屎丫你！」呢句經典對白，而油麻地果欄係呢套戲的重要拍攝場地黎架。

This is from a Hong Kong well-known movie "  As Tears Go By " in 1988, and this picture is from a scene that Jacky Cheung fight with Tony. And one of the shooting point of this movie is Yau Ma Tei Wholesale Fruit Market.

油麻地果欄

「油麻地果欄」，全名係「油麻地鮮果批發市場」，係香港三級歷史建築，即係水果的批發場地，而水果的來源來自國外同內地。佢建於1913年，至今已經有超過一百年歷史，嘩!有咁耐歷史當然係唔簡單啦，皆因「油麻地果欄」曾經經歷過唔少風腥血雨、龍爭虎鬥的日子，亦都係最能體驗到香港拚博精神的地方。

Yau Ma Tei Wholesale Fruit Market is Hong Kong's three historic buildings. The fruit is from oversea ans mainland china. It built in 1913, and already over 100 years. Wah! it's really long history. It is not easy for Hong Kong people, sine it is a place with team spirit, and a place what people fight for their life.

係呢度，超過 250 間生果批發商。每日凌晨 4 點至 6 點，係果欄最活躍的時間，工人、批發商個個都忙住競投生果、進行交易。

There are over 250 fruit wholesalers. The peak hours of Yau Ma Tei Wholesale Fruit Market is 4:00am to 6:00pm, all the staff,  wholesalers are really busy in their fruit transaction.

近年，「油麻地果欄」已經比較平靜，果欄的商人而家會同學校、社區組織合作舉辦果欄導賞團，希望可以推廣果欄的歷史及文化，亦有唔少人鍾意呢一種古老的建築物、氣氛，而去「油麻地果欄」影相。

Yau Ma Tei Wholesale Fruit Market are cooperating with school, social organization for fruit wholesalers guide tour these years. It hopes to promote the history and culture of Yau Ma Tei Wholesale Fruit Market. However, some people are enjoy the atmosphere of these old buildings, and shooting there.
